Long Term Residential Care refers to moving in your loved one to one of our assisted senior living care homes permanently. Our Residential Care Homes are typical American homes nestled in the middle of a neighborhood that have been renovated to accommodate aging seniors, including easy access bathrooms and widened door frames.
Bedrooms are usually unfurnished so the new resident can bring in familiar furniture from their previous residence. At 4 Seasons Senior Living, families may bring pictures and artwork to hang on their walls, and even paint the room if they choose! We want our residents to know that this is just as much their home as it is ours! Personalizing their room gives seniors a since of ownership and can rekindle happy memories.
Most assisted senior living facilities provide care for those needing help with activities of daily living, but Four Seasons Senior Living takes care giving of each senior and takes personal attention to an entirely new level. Our long-term residential care homes have between four and six residents per home to allow for optimal care.
Elder adults suffering from Alzheimer’s or others types of dementia, tend to work better in residential care homes because of the low number of residents and overall smaller environment. Large communities can be very intimidating for some seniors, especially if they are not used to high stimulating environments. Our residents enjoy seeing the familiar faces of our care providers and this allows a special bond of trust and respect to develop. Four Seasons Senior Living is considered “Aging in Place” and we are prepared to take care of your loved one, as their care needs progress.
We know that taking care of your loved one is sometimes beyond your control, and you just need help to give them what they need to live comfortably. Our experienced staff is available and ready to help you with any of your questions.
