Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life. Memory loss and difficulty reasoning are examples of the early symptoms experienced by our residents at Four Seasons Senior Living. Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia, and some of our residents have early or later stages of the disease. We notice the following signs of late-stage Alzheimer’s in our residents: impaired communication, disorientation, confusion, behavioral changes, and difficulty speaking, swallowing and walking.Four Seasons Senior Living has experienced caregivers that assist Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients with their daily tasks and daily routines. Whether it’s making a resident’s morning cup of coffee, helping with their morning workout, or getting them to settle in to read the paper, the caregivers at Four Seasons ensure a resident’s normal routine is consistently followed.
